The security keypad is a remote control for the security system. With the device's help, the user can arm or disarm the premises, notify the connected users about incidents and malfunctions, and receive information about the state of the equipment. Depending on the manufacturer and type of security keypad, the device may be equipped with an additional number of features.
Features
Information from the keyboard is secure against interception. The keyboard undergoes testing every 12 seconds and can be partially armed. It is sealed against tampering, has a two-year battery life, and shows status lights. It can connect 1700 m away, allows two-way communication, and can be disarmed under duress.
KeyPad Jeweller
Ajax KeyPad is a wireless touch keyboard for the Ajax security system. It sends signals to the alarm control panel when a code is entered or buttons are pressed. If the alarm is disarmed unexpectedly, an incorrect code can alert the monitoring station and users. It connects via a secure two-way Jeweller radio protocol and lasts up to two years on a battery.

KeyPad supports general passcodes, personal passcodes, and security activation without a passcode. Personal passcodes show the app log and notifications for security mode changes and user names. The keyboard allows creating passcodes for users not added to the hub, like a cleaning company.
