Compatibility
The lack of electricity ceases to be a problem since 12-24V PSU (type A) allows connecting the Ajax hub or radio signal range extender to a low-voltage power source instead of a normal power grid. This ensures the object’s protection for years and opens up numerous opportunities to use Ajax systems everywhere professional security is required.
Installation
12-24V PSU (type A) is installed inside the device enclosure instead of the standard 110/230 V~ power supply unit. It has a standard jack plug to connect the power cable and includes a terminal adapter in the complete set. An installer only needs a screwdriver and a few minutes to switch the pre-installed power supply unit to 12-24V PSU (type A).
Overview:
12-24V PSU (type A) is an alternative power supply unit to connect an Ajax hub or range extender to an 8–32 V⎓ power supply. 12–24V PSU is an electronic board built into the control panel enclosure, replacing the standard 110/230 V~ power supply unit.
Installation
It will take about 10 minutes for a professional electrician to install an alternative power supply unit into a control panel or range extender.
12–24V PSU features a standard socket connecting the power jack plug and a terminal adapter in the set. The process requires one PH1 screwdriver and the installation manual:

How to use
At a warehouse
Use Ajax security system in premises lacking electricity or having an unstable power supply. A 12–24 V⎓ power supply unit allows connecting hub and radio signal extenders to low-voltage networks or using a portable
battery.
In a trailer or a truck
Connect the hub to a car or portable battery, and the security system will travel with the driver to protect property or cargo.
On a yacht
Insert a SIM card and connect the hub to the on-board network or battery so that Ajax guards the boat at the pier.
